The Guild is its own organism -- a living being that flows and changes with time. As such, it's developed it's own slang: terminology and ways of dipicting actions through words, asterisks and various means. This Dictionary is an attempt to round up said information and present it to you as is.

Ach -- onomatopeia/expression - a way of saying "I heard you" or "oh". noncommittal response
Ack -- onomatopeia/statement - indicates sudden surprise, embarrassment, revelation of thought. Example: Ack! My soup is burning!
Almost-Albino -- adjective - someone who could be albino, except for small, annoying details (i.e. green eyes).
Anataries -- species - dragons that are an extraterrestrial species of dragon identified by their blunt muzzle with a small beak, large size, and a bipedal (almost raptor like) stance (© Dracana)
Argh -- statement - more subtle than Ack with a more negative feeling. Example: Argh, I have another test on Wednesday!
Art Dork -- proper noun - group that includes Likeshine, Etherrawen, Dreamlance, Kynekh Amagire, and Lagartixa Harlequin
Auroragryphon -- species - A species of artic gryphons, guardians of the Northern Lights. Front half, egale, back half, panther. Any markings are possible (© Tath)
Aurorathe -- name - Goddess of the Northern Lights; patron Goddess of the Auroragryphons (© Tath)
Avo -- onomatopeia - agreement
Aye -- "yes"
Ayea/Ayei -- Kasric agreement

BAMF! -- explicative - Word used to describe the sound of imploding air during teleportation (example: *teleports with a BAMF!*); The act of teleportation (example: *BAMF!s to the ceiling*)
BCP -- noun - Banana Creme Pie, preferred ammo of Jyiis
Black Gryphon -- subrace - a species of Gryph that is black and uses Shadow/Dark magicks. Most were killed off by Humans for being "evil", and now only one Wyng remains (concept DLFreak)
Blah/bleh -- statement/adjective/adverb/verb - indication of indifference, apathy, lack of emotional feeling. To basically feel like not doing anything; lethargic.
Blarg -- onomatopeia/statement - "oh, crap"
Blinking -- verb - annoyance
Bobbing Head -- action - denotes shyness, embarrassment, or nervousness
Boo -- adjective - another word for "cat", especially one that is cute, friendly, and lovable. Can be used as a nickname or as a surname
Bounce -- action - done when excited
Brrk/Brrk? -- onomatopeia/statement - a cheerful questioning noise
Brrrt -- onomatopeia/expression -the sound made by a cat as it stretches. Also, a very small, quiet purr
Brux -- verb - grinding one's beak or teeth, a sign of security and contentment. Often seen in psittacines (parrots), and mammals such as rats. Similar to purring
Buh -- statement - similar to blah/bleh, but it can also be used to express surprise and confusion at something. Example: Stormy suddenly gets up and dances the funky chicken all around the Guild. (Stormy is horrible at dancing, by the way.) The rest of the Guilders look at each other in confusion, and then look at Stormy. "Buh?"
Burr -- action - a soft airy noise, made by equines and some other species. A whuffling through the nostrils, which sounds like an interrupted 'hrrrr' or unvoiced whinny. Originally snatched from the Closed Captioning for "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron".
Bwah -- onomatopeia/expression - an expression used to show annoyance, amusement, or exasperation; also, "bweh"
Bwee! -- statement of sudden joy, happiness, positive surprise
Bwibble -- onomatopeia/statement - nonword to confuse

Campchurch -- species - sea-unicorn; usually depicted as a unicorn with webbed feet, residing in the ocean. Related to the Hippocampus
CatGryph -- noun- a gryphon-winged cat hybrid
Celestial Demon -- species - the oldest known breed of the 13 Ethereal Demons.
Depending on their surroundings they can be as small as 6ft 5 or as tall as 6' 10"; they can only be found in blue but in varying shades
expelling only the very dark and very pale shades with red (or reddish-colored) long hair. The mountainous varieties being the
palest and tropical varieties being darker (but this is not always the case). Eyes
are any shade of gold. All have an elegant, elven form but their legs are similar to those of a cat or dog in form but with two paw-like toes.
They have long, fan-tipped tails and large, bird-like wings. Extremely fast and agile with a huge knowledge of Ether-casting (magic, in other words they are very good mages). Peaceful and kind, these demons were almost wiped out when the humans invaded the Ethereal Realmbut thanks to the 4

Cerdrakoni (ser-DRAHK-oh-nee) -- species - (singular or plural) immortal demonic beings in dragon shape, "fallen angel dragons" with curled ram's horns, a forward-pointing central horn, sailed wings, and a venomous sting on their tailtip; particulars of anatomy are subject to change. Cerdrakoni are fallen ludrakoni, individuals who have turned their backs on the Truelight and seek to spread entropy through death, pain, and destruction. They are always dark in coloration, and take on new names after their Fall. A cerdrakoni shuns bright light, as it can damage them physically as well as emotionally, and have a deep hatred of ludrakoni, as seeing the angel dragons only reminds them of what they turned their backs on; they will often attempt to kill a ludrakoni on sight. Chibi -- adjective - having out-of-proportion characteristics remniscent of a young creature but exaggerated, often with a very large head, equally large eyes and stubby limbs that may not have distinct digits. Dangerously cute. Originating in Japanese anime and manga. Also a noun referring to one who is chibi, and as a verb, chibify: to turn into a chibi
Chimera -- noun - a creature made up of incongruous parts or more than one different species. In Greek mythology, a three-headed she-monster with the forequarters of a lion, the hindquarters of a goat, and a serpent for a tail. She had the head of a lion, a goat's head on her back, and a serpent's head on her tail
Chirp -- verb - happily surprised sound
Chrr -- onomatopeia - sound an otter or an ottergryph makes when satisfied, happy or content
Chortle -- action - a deep, amused laugh
Chuckle -- action/statement - something must be mentioned of the Gryphon's laugh. It is a very dry chuckle, wrought with irony and very wry. Gryphons do not guffaw, they do not giggle, they do not just "laugh" -- it can only be described as a chuckle, and it is often low in volume.
Clacking Beak -- action - confusion, nervousness
Confettigryph -- proper noun - what Acyd is; an affectionate nickname for Acyd

Daemon/Demon -- race - humanoidal species that has magicalish/supernaturalish type powers. Many demons have a beast form, and their humanoidal form often represents their beast form (i.e. coloration, ears, tail, etc.).
Dark Light -- powerful substance that usually takes the form of a purple mist; full potential/abilities unmeasurable; while small amounts can be bound to inanimate objects for use by the bearer, the main body of Dark Light resides within the physical form of a being known as the Guardian whose task it is to serve and protect the purple substance; can be very powerful in an indirect way by acting as a catalyst for other spells/magic. Doot -- onomatopeia/expression - draconic sound, expressing happiness
Drakien -- species - an anthropomorphic descendant of the Anataries dragon (© Dracana)
Drat -- species - what Jinx is; a dragon/cat hybrid, only one of her kind
Drinsh/Drinshy -- noun, adverb, or adjective - Drinsh: someone that is acting stupid, having trouble spelling, or godmoding. ex: You're such a Drinsh today!!!
Drolphon -- species - this creature has the body, hind legs, and head of a wolf. Feathered wings with batlike scaly "thumbs" with long talons. Forelegs of a bird of prey or gryphon, only furry. Tail of a dragon with spikes running half way down and tail feathers at the end. These creatures sport a varity of fur colors though mostly nature fur colors such as black, brown,and grey.. ex. Although their eyes are usually odd in color or abnormally bright or sometime change or swirl different colors. These creature have the ablity to look like a normal wolf if need be and are very rare and almost never seen especially by humans. (Species © Luna Star.)

Earquirk -- action - a quick uplifting of an ear performed when feeling incredulous; the gryphonic equivalent of raising an eyebrow
Ears Pinned Back -- action - strong annoyance, anger
Earwilt -- action - expression of sorrow/disappointment (canine gesture)
Eeh/Ehh -- onomatopeia - general noise of surprise
Eep!/Eep?/Eep -- see meep
Elemental -- noun - a creature made partially or completely of a natural substance, such as rock, fire, water, and air
Elisserion -- subspecies - a type of unicorn, closely related to goats and antelope. It has cloven hooves, a horse-like mane, and a tufted tail
'Ello/Heyas -- greeting
Erf?/Erfle? -- onomatopeia - expresses confusion, or more often, non-comprehension
Erk -- statement/verb - 1) An vocalization of a mental wince, sometimes used when person A feels sympathy for person B's predicament. Example: (conversation between A and B on messenger) - A: I have a psychology midterm on wednesday... it's worth one-third of my class grade. B: Erk... I'm sorry. Study hard! 2) To feel a sudden drop of one's positive mood due to something else. Example: Stormy erks. I have an exam in two days.
Err -- statement - expressing confusion, hesitation, uncertainty in a situation.
Evill -- adjective - the evil-laugh kind of evil; pronounced the same as "evil", but with the second syllable stretched out
Eyrie -- noun - the nest of a raptor or gryphon; often huge, and in the case of gryphons, lined with gold. Also spelled aerie

Feh -- Like bleh, but this is carries more of the "f-word" connotation, similar to the english slang, "Screw this."
Fertzha -- species - Race of phoenixes, having the talons of a raptor and the crest of a sulphur-crested cockatoo. Coloring and body shape varies (© Griffinluv2u)
Fierave -- species - large, sentient metal-feathered cranelike birds with extrodinary ability with illusions. egotistical as a race to the point of self-destruction, only one is left. (Stymph-self is one)
Flattened Ears -- action - anger or discomfort at something
Flippogryph -- species - a type of hippogryph possessing the traits of a flamingo and a giraffe (Species © Rikiji)
Floof -- action - 1)fluff, fluffy and/or puffy objects/substances with a tendency to "poof" (also nonsense); 2) to go floofy, ie to floof; 3)when a feathered creature fluffs their plumage to the point that they start to resemble a puffball; 4) to disappear, teleport or otherwise move in a manner similar to a bouncy, springloaded powderpuff
Floofy -- adjective - what Nambroth is
Floofywoofypoofies -- noun - denotes baby mammals or fluffy animals
FNAR -- 1) laid-back variant of the f-word. 2. (acronym) "For No Apparent Reason". 3. (proper noun) Character in the webcomic "Jack".
Fnargle -- verb - to maul, mangle or otherwise maim
Flop -- action - usually done in exhaustion, exasperation or something similar
FRC -- acronym - Flying Rabid Coconut. (Intellectual property of Softwin.)
Frump -- omomatopeia - an indignant-type sound
Futz -- noun - jerk, idiot
Fuzzbutt -- adjective - an indescribable fluffy rear-end, usually referring to that of a gryphon
Fwark -- onomatopeia/expression - word that is used when questioning something or a random sound
Fweee? -- onomatopeia/expression - a questioning sound
Fwoozle -- verb - something you do to people

Glacial gryphon -- species - bluish tinted, arctic adapted, "reverse" gryphons; what Muse is (concept © Muse)
Glee! -- expression - denotes utter delight
Glomp -- action - like a pouncing, only instead of pinning, ends up in a quasi-hug
Glomph -- action - pouncehuggle and cling (some take this to mean a really big bite, so use with care)
Gnarr/Gnar -- onomatopeia - 1) exclaimation of annoyance or irritation. Gnar -- 2) (verb) Chewing or gnawing. 3) (onomatopeia) The sound of one chewing or gnawing. Usually on someone else
Graagh -- Similar to argh, but with a more stressed connotation.
Grephaun -- noun - what Jyiis is
Griffled -- onomatopeia - to be irritated, set feathers all ruffled; refers to gryphs
Grrf -- onomatopeia - denotes quiet annoyance/anger
Grybbit -- species - creature having the hindquarters of a puma, wings and forelegs of an albatross, and the head, ears and tail of a rabbit (Species © Rikiji)
Gryfsune -- subrace - being half-gryphon and half-kitsune
Gryn -- verb - a gryphonic grin

Headbump -- verb - to gently thud the top of one's head against a friend, to show affection. Often followed by rubbing one's cheek or entire body against them. A stereotypically feline gesture

Hippocampify -- action - to take a person's main appearance and alter it to be viewed as a hippocampus
Hippocampus -- species - half-horse, half-fish/dolphon; mythical transport of Poseidon; relative of the Campchurch
Hippogryph -- species - gryphon subtype with the hindend of a horse and the fore of a gryphon; many variants possible on this
Hjckrrh -- Something a Gryphon exclaims - from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, chapter XI
Hrm/Hrmt -- onomatopeia/statement - different from "hmm", deeper and more animal-like; used to show thinking/thought and/or contemplation
Hrmph -- onomatopeia/expression - expressing grumpiness; admitting defeat, either with humor or wounded pride; resigning to a situation or fate, but not happy about it. Also hmph or humph
Huggle -- verb - to hug another person or object in a friendly manner
Hurr/Hrr -- onomatopeia/statement - thinking hard before saying something; denotes embarassment

-ish -- suffex - 1) Whole word denoting exhaustion, exasperation, etc.
2) Suffix allowing any word to become and adjective, or any adjective to be emphasized. ex: foodish (often used in dining halls), wierdish, etc.
Ithen -- species - closest physical translation of the name used by beings of pure consciousness which, in their natural state, exist beyond the bounds of the physical multiverse. Their "voice" speaks directly to the consciousness of the target(s). Kageitachi -- species - (literally "shadow weasel" in Japanese) A kamaitachi and raiju hybrid combining the influence of the elements of wind and lightning (what Sable is)
Kamaitachi -- species - (literally, "sickle weasel" in Japanese) a type Japanese weasel-spirit associated with the wind
Kasic (KAZ-ik) -- species - a group of people that are birds or gryphonlike creatures called Wallas. They've very strong telepathic powers and are intellegent; overall location unknown. (concept © Diana)
Ke'chara (also kechara) -- adjective - term of endearment meaning "beloved" in the language of the Kaled'a'in, similar to "sweetheart" or "love". It is not restricted to a purely romantic use but may also be used in a sense of love between siblings or close friends, though its serious nature gives it more weight than any casual term of endearment. Ki-yi/Ki-yah -- onomatopeia - 1. Yelping contact call, made by certain raptors and canines. 2. To run away howling, in ignominous defeat
Kweehaha -- onomatopeia - an expression to be yelled in random places at random times
Kweh -- onomatopeia - noise made to indicate passive boredom
